Empire Hotel Company was formed in December 2007, for the sole purpose of assembling a portfolio of Hilton and Marriott upscale Extended Stay and Select Service hotels.

The company has origins rooted in a much larger success story of The United Group of Companies. The United Group has over 30 years of success developing, financing, managing and owning all types of commercial Real Estate. The United Group's corporate infrastructure and financial strength provide the platform from which Empire Hotel Company has been launched. Empire Hotel Company is made up of a small group of professionals who collectively have over 50 years of Real Estate and Hotel Industry experience.

The Company plans on growing through a balance between acquisitions and ground up development. Upon entering a market an analysis is made identifying not only immediate opportunities, but also a more comprehensive view assessing future development and acquisitions. The investment required to enter into the market can then be spread across multiple hotels which increases the rate of return against capital invested.
